Job Overview

As a Diagnostic Imaging Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department, ensuring seamless patient care and exceptional diagnostic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Ultrasound Technologists, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and job satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and patient-centered care.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment and services.

Based on the location and job requirements, we estimate the salary to be around $87,000 per year, which is competitive with industry standards.

Qualifications
  • Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARMDS) or registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S).
  • Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, as well as work in a variety of environments, including clinical and office settings.
