Shift: 7 PM to 7:30 AM (12 hours shift)

Days: Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Pay rate: $33-$35/hour

Duties:

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate Patient Record Keeping: Record a patient's medical history accurately and maintain confidentiality.
  • Measurement and Observation: Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc., and observe patients under treatment to identify progress and side-effects of medications.
  • Patient Evaluation and Reporting: Evaluate the patient's wellbeing and report any needs to medical staff.
  • Treatment Explanation: Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families.
  • Medical Charting: Record a patient's medical history accurately and maintain confidentiality.
  • Fluid Intake and Output Monitoring: Monitor patients' condition, including fluid intake and output, and compose patient charts.
  • Assisting Patients: Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities, such as eating, bathing, etc.
  • Medical Administration: Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, etc., clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
  • Lab Testing: Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
  • Communication: Communicate with patients' family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.

Requirements:

  • LPN License: Possess a valid LPN license.
  • BLS Certification: Hold a current BLS certification.
  • Covid-19 Vaccination: Be up-to-date on Covid-19 vaccination.
