Job Responsibilities:
This role involves performing professional duties related to the maintenance of financial records and the verification of financial transactions. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring accurate tagging, organization, and tracking of inventory.
- Maintaining precise records in the financial management system and reconciling reports associated with fixed assets.
- Collaborating with the Shipping/Receiving Department to document incoming and outgoing inventory and manage warehouse stock.
- Adhering to state guidelines for documentation and scheduling inventory disposal.
- Participating in cross-training within the Finance Office and Shipping/Receiving Department.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, along with professional experience in accounting, procurement, or inventory management.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least two years of experience in accounting and fixed asset management, with knowledge of governmental fiscal and accounting processes.
