Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medsurg/Tele unit on night shift. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and utilize the nursing process to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to assess patient situations and develop appropriate plans of care.
  • Advocate for patients and their families, identifying and resolving ethical and clinical concerns.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly, ensuring the protection and security of Patient Health Information (PHI).
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic EKG course within one year of hire.
  • Current AHA BLS Certification.
  • Current AHA ACLS Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
