Position Overview: Scheduler/Client Service Coordinator

As a vital member of our team at SANZIE HEALTHCARE SERVICES, INC., the Scheduler/Client Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients. This position requires a blend of strong customer service capabilities and organizational skills to manage patient scheduling effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately input and maintain patient and employee records in the database.
  • Coordinate patient appointments and monitor completed supervisory visits in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Communicate with clinical supervisors and case managers regarding necessary verbal orders for care visits.
  • Ensure patient and clinician satisfaction by maintaining consistency in scheduling.
  • Handle service requests and scheduling modifications while managing patient and resource calendars.
  • Report staffing needs and performance concerns to the Clinical Supervisor as necessary.
  • Inform the Administrator or Intake Department about additional payer authorizations required for ongoing services.
  • Document communications with patients, families, or caregivers in the Electronic Medical Record.
  • Provide support to other team members as assigned.
  • Engage in information management and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in mandatory training and educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Stay informed about new methods and trends in the industry and share insights with colleagues.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as required.
  • Enter scheduling data and manage staff schedules, ensuring alignment with care plans and availability.
  • Contact care providers and clients regarding daily scheduling changes.
  • Verify caregiver licensing and certifications to ensure compliance.
  • Review documentation to confirm all necessary forms are completed.
  • Ensure client files are comprehensive with all required documents.
  • Review client information and care plans upon intake, establishing unassigned schedules for monitoring staffing progress.
  • Schedule appropriately skilled personnel for new clients and promptly input scheduling information into the database.

Qualifications:
  • Possession of an LPN or RN degree.
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience is required.
  • Preferred experience includes one year in healthcare or home care settings and one year in scheduling.

Compensation: $16 - $18 per hour
