Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our healthcare team at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments, planning and implementing patient diets, and providing education and counseling to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough nutritional assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized diet plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient nutritional needs are met and to provide education on healthy eating habits.
  • Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients and their families.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust diet plans as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Current Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) certification.
  • Current state certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
