Job Description

The Direct Support Professional role at Doma is a dynamic position that requires a compassionate and dedicated individual to support individuals in living independently. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support assistance to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, families, and other team members to ensure seamless support.
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Transport individuals to appointments and community activities, promoting socialization and engagement.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license, if driving is required for the position.
  • No more than two minor moving violations in the past three years.
  • No major violations in the past five years.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for individuals' privacy.
