About the Role:
Abidi Solutions is looking for an experienced MES Process Improvement Lead to contribute to a significant digital transformation project at our manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a seasoned Business Analyst with a robust background in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) who is ready to take on a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Direct MES project initiatives, including rollouts, enhancements, and scheduling for production, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
- Business Analysis: Supervise and evaluate software development projects related to MES, ensuring comprehensive coverage and identifying any process gaps.
- Process Flow & Documentation: Develop detailed process flow diagrams, project plans, and documentation to support project initiatives.
- Shop Floor Analysis: Engage directly on the shop floor to comprehend and analyze specifications, pinpointing missing elements or areas for enhancement.
- Process Automation: Identify opportunities for automation within the MES to streamline operations, minimize errors, and improve quality control.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, specifically managing and analyzing at least 3 software development projects involving MES software.
- Industrial Manufacturing: Extensive experience in an industrial or complex manufacturing setting, with comfort and familiarity working on the shop floor.
- Attention to Detail: High level of organization and meticulous attention to detail, with strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tools Expertise: Practical experience with MS Project, Visio, and/or DevOps for scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- SAP Experience: Familiarity with SAP systems is a significant advantage.
