Position Overview: Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients with substance use disorders
• Provide educational resources and counseling support to clients and their families
• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
• Lead therapy and educational groups
• Make suitable referrals for clients when necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with clinical standards

Qualifications

• Must fulfill the criteria for Qualified Addiction Professional as defined by the Division of Behavioral Health
• Possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and CPR/First Aid certification
