Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, processing prescriptions, and counseling patients on their medication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including processing and dispensing prescriptions, administering immunizations, and counseling patients on their medication needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely medication therapy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and provide the highest level of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and pharmacy operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
