Join Our Team as a Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at the Hampton VA Medical Center. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our nation's veterans in an outpatient setting.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule, with an opportunity for a compressed schedule (4 x 10-hour days). You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, leading a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) and providing face-to-face care to approximately 1200 assigned veterans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care to veterans in an outpatient setting
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, LPNs, and administrative support
  • Develop and implement care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school. You must also be board certified in a primary care specialty and have a valid medical license.
