Job Summary

The Data Integration Specialist develops scripts for integration, data conversion, and automation processes using front-end and back-end database tools for ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data mapping, data flow analysis, production automation
  • Source code management and debugging
  • Building schemas, developing stored procedures and database triggers in SQL
  • Handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify data requirements to integrate new data sources. Perform technical analytics to confirm data integration meets or exceeds defined expectations.
  • Assist in development of processes/architecture into integrated data platforms and promote data integration standards and best practices.
  • Create and optimize SQL queries and reports to extract, transform, and aggregate data for reporting and analytics purposes.
  • Manage and maintain the SQL data warehouse process to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.
  • Act as company-wide subject matter expert (SME) for data processing and internally derived data.
  • Assist in data collection for gap analysis on set ups and new implementations.
  • Write/test scripts and scrub data for import and export.
  • Respond and resolve client support tickets.
  • Produce ad hoc reports from support ticket requests.
  • Create and maintain thorough process documentation.
  • Collaborate with Operation teams when diagnosing difficult issues or building new features.
  • Continuous education in new products and improving technical skills.
  • Implement business rules.

  • Collaborate with internal leaders. Understand corporate and client objectives and contribute to the identification and prioritization of upcoming initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science or related field or 3 years of experience working within large volume relational data sets, including data design and transformation.
  • SQL - SSMS/SSRS/SSIS
  • Working knowledge of VBA and
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Macro's, queries, advanced formulas) and Access
Preferred Qualifications
  • WinBatch experience
  • FACS software (Enables, Tactics, Logic Blocks)
  • Familiarity with data sets from common healthcare software platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare environment and financial workflow
  • Experience in a HIPAA-regulated environment
  • Experience in Crystal or Ontario/Finvi Analytics
