Job Title: Ear Nose Throat Specialist

Location: South Carolina

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Flexible, 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Board-Certified Ear Nose Throat Specialist to provide onsite ENT surgical and clinical care at the VA Medical Center in South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, comprehensive ENT services, including outpatient care and scheduled surgeries
  • Perform various ENT surgical procedures, including but not limited to:
    • Thyroidectomy
    • Parotidectomy
    • Sinus Surgery
    • Head/Neck Cancer Removal
    • Pan Endoscopy
  • Conduct postoperative evaluations for ENT patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and on general wards
  • Attend and contribute to morbidity and mortality conferences, providing necessary case information for departmental reports
  • Maintain punctual attendance for scheduled clinics and surgeries

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent
  • Completion and upkeep of all continuing education courses required for maintaining certification
