Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Speech Services: Create and implement speech services that are developmentally appropriate, following frameworks of student IEPs, state curriculum, or common core standards.
  • Provide Direct Therapy: Provide direct individual and/or group therapy to students.
  • Supervise Speech Assistants: Provide clinical supervision to 1-2 Speech and Language Assistants.
  • Evaluate Students: Administer speech and language evaluations, and conduct thorough evaluations necessary for quarterly progress reports, annual assessment, and reevaluations.
  • Collaborate with Teachers: Consult with teachers and other therapeutic staff to provide inter-disciplinary programming.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Collect, analyze, and maintain data on all students within the classroom.
  • Communicate with Parents: Facilitate ongoing parent contact and encourage family involvement.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • South Carolina SLP License
  • Prior Experience in School Settings or Working with Pediatric Populations
