Job Title: Clinical Care Specialist

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

ZOLL LifeVest is seeking a skilled Clinical Care Specialist to join our team as an independent contractor. As a Clinical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for training patients on the use of the LifeVest wearable defibrillator.

This is a perfect opportunity for health professionals with patient care and teaching experience to supplement their income. You will work with patients in hospitals, setting up equipment and providing instruction on its use. Your role will also involve following up with patients as needed to ensure they understand and are satisfied with the LifeVest.

About the Role:

  • Manage equipment and garment inventory
  • Contact caregivers and family members to schedule fittings
  • Available to conduct evening and weekend activities
  • Travel to patients' homes for fittings or follow-up visits
  • Disclose personal relationships with potential referral sources
  • Program equipment according to physician's orders
  • Measure patients and determine correct garment size
  • Train patients and caregivers in LifeVest use
  • Have patients sign Patient Agreement and WEAR Checklist
  • Fax signed documents to ZOLL within 24 hours

Requirements:

  • 1 year of professional patient care experience
  • Patient experience must be documented on resume
  • Willingness to undergo background check
  • Florida and Ohio candidates must complete level 2 screening (fee not paid by ZOLL)
  • Personal NPI number disclosure (if applicable)
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance
  • Willingness to pay for additional training and vendor credentials
