The Clinique Beauty Advisor plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our sales team by providing exceptional customer service and promoting our premium beauty products. This role requires a strong passion for beauty and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet or exceed personal sales per hour goals by effectively promoting and selling our beauty products to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being a role model and demonstrating excellent selling skills and customer service.
- Execute successful promotions and special events to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Work with store management to optimize business operations and achieve assigned sales goals.
- Identify and reduce shrinkage in the area by maintaining accurate inventory levels and adhering to store policies.
- Meet or exceed SPH goal by providing a high level of customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed credit application goals by effectively processing customer transactions and providing excellent customer service.
- Thank each customer by name following a purchase to build customer loyalty and retention.
- Handle each transaction efficiently and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide a high level of customer service to support Customer Satisfaction Surveys (CSS) and build customer clientele base.
- Record and protect personal identifying customer information to maintain customer confidentiality.
- Maintain floor and stock areas consistent with store standards in presentation and hygiene requirements.
- Unpack new merchandise in a timely manner and store it in a place that does not obstruct customer access to the department.
- Ensure timely set-up including signage for promotional events to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Follow procedures for all systems including AIR, counts, markdowns, retickets, inventory control, and RTV's to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Maintain Belk and vendor professional dress standards (uniforms) and appearance to represent the company in a positive light.
- Cooperate with fellow associates and management to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Comply with store policies concerning attendance, tardiness, and associate handbook to maintain a productive work environment.
- Accept additional duties or share responsibilities during busy times and/or as requested by Sales Team Manager/Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager.
Minimum Education & Experience:
- No education requirement.
- Experience in retail preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings & weekends, due to shift rotation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment.
- Hand manipulation to remove sensor tags.
- Ability to push / pull 100-500 pounds when moving stock carts.
- Task demands vary in each department because of the different types of merchandise.
- Stocking requirements can involve reaching above & below shoulder level and lifting 25-50 pound boxes.
- Ability to apply treatment/make-up to customer's face.
