Job Summary

The Rehabilitation Director will provide leadership and management to ensure the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services to patients. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs to meet the needs of patients
  • Manage and supervise rehabilitation staff, including therapists and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CARF and JCAHO standards
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness of rehabilitation services
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs
  • Develop and manage budgets for rehabilitation services
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for staff and patients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech and Language Pathology
  • Current license in the state(s) assigned
  • Minimum of 3 years of rehabilitation experience
  • MDS certification (RAC-CT) or other advanced certification preferred
  • Proven leadership and program development/supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of state, federal, and therapy practice act legislation/law and accreditation standards
