Job Summary:

JobRialto is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for planning and administering medically prescribed respiratory therapy to patients. Your expertise will be essential in restoring patients' pulmonary function, alleviating pain, and supporting life.

  • Conduct pulmonary function tests to assess patients' respiratory health.
  • Develop and implement personalized respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians.
  • Administer inhalants, operate mechanical ventilators, and other respiratory equipment to support patient care.
  • Monitor patients' physiological responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Direct and supervise respiratory therapy treatments provided by aides, technicians, and assistants.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and recommend adjustments to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop discharge plans and provide education to patients and families on respiratory care.
  • Recommend assistive equipment and outpatient or home health follow-up programs to support patients' continued care.
  • Document patient care services and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement respiratory therapy treatment plans.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and analyze results.
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and monitor patient responses.
  • Direct and supervise respiratory therapy staff.
  • Evaluate and adjust treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop discharge plans.
  • Recommend assistive equipment and follow-up programs.
  • Document patient care services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • GA state license required.
  • Must be willing to float, work every other weekend, and be available for 2 out of 3 major holidays if needed.
  • RCP and NBRC certifications required.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
