Line Clearance Arborist

Become a Utility Vegetation Maintenance Technician with the Tri-M Group and contribute to ensuring public safety by trimming and clearing trees and vegetation from power lines. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This position involves:

• Trimming or removing branches, trees, and vegetation within proximity to electrical lines.
• Operating equipment such as bucket trucks, woodchippers, and hand tools.
• Collaborating with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Participating in emergency service requests outside regular working hours.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A high school education or equivalency.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the tree trimming industry.
• Knowledge of company safety policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with electrical and voltage hazards.
• Basic knowledge of tree identification, growth habits, and arboriculture techniques.
