Job Summary

As a Medical Assistant at Norman Regional Health System, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients and supporting physicians in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document in the Electronic Medical Record system
  • Assist with day-to-day patient care, including tasks assigned by physicians
  • Provide excellent customer service, communication, and attention to detail
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training program or equivalent experience
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, preferably with patient care experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation
  • Current BLS certification required for duration of employment
