Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

Job Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 10-hour days, 7 am - 5 pm (may fluctuate to meet department needs)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years current experience in Cardiac Cath Lab

License: RN licensure required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS & PALS

Must-Have:
- Active scrub tech certification
- Detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology
- Successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
- Team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment

Job Description:
- Perform Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and/or Structural Heart procedures
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation is maintained
- Ensure accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load
- Respond to and provide emergent care
- Perform administrative tasks, including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring equipment and cleanliness of the lab
- Ensure preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance with local and federal regulations
- May be required to work on-call, weekends, and holidays
- Float within the facility and alternate locations within 20 miles of the assigned location
- Participation in 1st-week orientation, not to exceed 40 total hours, including EPIC training
- Adhere to established guidelines and requirements for travel nurses

Additional Information:
- Travelers must not have been an employee of the health system for 12 months from the last day worked, to be considered for a travel position
- Travel pairs are not guaranteed the same schedules or shifts
- No holiday time off will be approved for travelers
- State tax responsibilities as required
