Essential Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree from a recognized institution.

About Our Geriatrics and Extended Care Program:
The primary mission of our Geriatric and Extended Care programs is to alleviate the impact of disability on older, frail, and chronically ill patients and their families. We aim to enhance each patient's functional independence. Given the variability in chronic illness progression, the healthcare needs of these patients evolve, necessitating a range of Geriatrics and Extended Care services over time.
Our services include Community Residential Care, VA Community Living Centers, Community Nursing Homes, and State Veteran Homes, all designed to support veterans who cannot live independently. Additionally, we have Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Centers that foster the integration of research, education, and clinical practice.
Our Geriatric Evaluation & Management, Geriatric Primary Care, and Inpatient Respite services provide comprehensive care to elderly patients, while our Hospice and Palliative Care programs offer a continuum of supportive services tailored for individuals with advanced illnesses.
