Job Summary

ECS Limited is seeking a highly experienced Certified Welding Inspector to join our team in Waxahachie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex field observations and inspections, as well as conducting destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT) or non-destructive examination (NDE) on steel and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field observations, testing, and inspections of various construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement.
  • Conduct routine observations of structural steel and reinforcing steel, including welded or bolted connections, using various methodologies and testing equipment.
  • Collect and analyze data, perform calculations, and maintain accurate records of test results and inspections.
  • Communicate effectively with site contractors, technicians, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance professional skills and advance in the company.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • ASNT NDT Level II certification(s) and at least 2 additional advanced industry certifications.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Ability to lift 40-70 lbs and work at heights.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
