Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team in Aurora, IL. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student progress.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, adhering to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Illinois.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
