Nurse Practitioner

At the University of Maryland Medical System, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland or eligibility to practice due to Compact state agreements.
- Current AHA BLS certification and unit-specific certification requirements.
- More than 12 months of nursing experience and solid knowledge and clinical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
