Job Description
The University of California, Irvine is seeking an exceptional Medical Physicist to join its Department of Radiation Oncology. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in advancing the department's mission to provide excellent patient care and innovative treatments.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining a comprehensive quality and safety program that ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Representing the department on hospital leadership committees to drive quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Developing and sustaining a program focused on patient safety, process improvement, and professional outcomes assessment.
The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. or equivalent in Medical Physics or a related field, along with clinical experience in clinical Medical Physics. They will demonstrate excellent people skills and a passion for leading innovative research, teaching, and service efforts.
