Job Description

Overview

Vail Resorts is seeking a highly motivated and passionate coach to join our Competition Center team. As a coach, you will be responsible for providing a safe and positive environment for athletes to develop their skills and a love for the sport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training plans to help athletes achieve their goals
  • Provide coaching and guidance to athletes of all ages and skill levels
  • Work collaboratively with other coaches and staff to ensure a high-quality training environment
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the Competition Center's programs and services

Requirements

  • USSS/USASA coaching certification (Level 100 or higher) or international equivalent
  • Experience in coaching and/or racing in snow sports
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to ski/ride and work safely in all snow surface/terrain conditions
