Job Summary:
Pacific Companies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Physician/Hospitalist to provide locum tenens coverage in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This is a unique opportunity to work in a Critical Access Hospital setting, with the option to work in the outpatient clinic on non-shift days.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 24 hour hospitalist coverage, with the option to work in the outpatient clinic on non-shift days
- Perform a range of procedures, including vent managements, EKG, surgical assistance, intubation, and suturing
- Care for 10-15 patients per day
- Collaborate with an ED Physician on staff to lead codes and provide medical direction
Requirements:
- Michigan medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in Hospital Medicine
