Part-Time Acupuncturist

Position:

Acupuncturist (Starting with Part time to Full time once schedule ramps up). This is a 1099 position for now with hourly payment.

Location:

Lakeview

Hours:

Typically Tuesday thru Saturday (5-8 sessions per day) - Flexible Schedule

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Part-Time Acupuncturist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional acupuncture treatments to our clients, promoting holistic health and wellness.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough initial consultations with patients to understand their medical history, symptoms, and treatment goals.
  2. Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, incorporating acupuncture techniques and other complementary therapies if applicable.
  3. Administer acupuncture treatments, ensuring the use of sterile needles, proper needling techniques, and adherence to safety protocols.
  4. Provide holistic health advice, including lifestyle modifications, nutrition recommendations, and stress management techniques.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and any relevant documentation.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, chiropractors, or massage therapists, to ensure integrated patient care.
  7. Stay informed about the latest research, techniques, and developments in acupuncture, and continuously enhance professional knowledge and skills.
  8. Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, and patient confidentiality.
  9. Adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to acupuncture practice.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  1. Excellent patient care mentality
  2. Valid certification or licensure as an acupuncturist from a recognized institution or governing body.
  3. Demonstrated expertise and proficiency in acupuncture techniques, including needling, moxibustion, cupping, and other related modalities.
  4. Strong knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles and theory, with the ability to apply them effectively in clinical practice.
  5. Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients.
  7. Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to help patients achieve optimal health and well-being.
  8. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience:

Previous experience practicing as an acupuncturist is preferred but not required. New graduates are welcome to apply.
