Are you a detail-oriented and proactive professional looking for a challenging role in the toy industry? MAGNA-TILES is seeking a skilled Inventory Planner to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in inventory planning, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. They will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels across our supply chain network, working closely with procurement, production, and distribution functions to ensure product availability.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, familiarity with supply chain processes, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to meet company objectives.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain inventory plans that align with business goals and customer demand, collaborating closely with demand planning, sales, and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
  • Performing regular inventory analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization
  • Utilizing historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant information to create accurate demand forecasts
  • Adjusting forecasts based on real-time Point of Sale data, changing market conditions, and promotional opportunities
  • Working closely with our procurement team in Hong Kong to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of inventory
  • Coordinating with the logistics team to ensure efficient product flow and timely delivery
  • Analyzing inventory reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Establishing forecasting tools and software to support inventory planning decisions
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance inventory management efficiency and effectiveness
  • Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory planning and management
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports on inventory status, forecasts, and other relevant metrics to management and other internal functions
  • Providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making
