About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a therapeutic day school in Illinois. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping students with speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth for students in the therapeutic setting.
  • Assist in developing student Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs and goals.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students within the diverse learning program.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students' speech and/or language needs.
  • Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, sharing progress updates and providing strategies for continued support at home.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • IDFPR License in the state of Illinois.
  • Active Professional Educators License (PEL).
