Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. As a Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist servers in bussing tables and maintaining a clean and orderly dining room
  • Ensure that all guests and members receive excellent service
  • Perform pre-shift side work to ensure success
  • Review the menu and become thoroughly familiar with all items and preparation methods
  • Check with the Lead line cook for any special instructions prior to each shift
  • Set up and clean the line, and learn and memorize table numbers and seat numbers
  • Immediately clean and reset any dirty tables
  • Keep the floor free of debris and complete cleaning and stocking duties thoroughly
  • Be prepared to speak to the offerings of the entire Resort and Spa, including services and hours of operation
  • Deliver exceptional service standards and department-specific signature touch points
  • Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete additional training as needed
  • Perform deep cleaning and organizing as assigned
  • Assist with the functions of other positions within the restaurant and across the resort as needed
  • Maintain proper functioning and cleaning of equipment used in the kitchen and dining room
  • Alert management of needed product, rotate dated product, and remove expired product
  • Understand the functions of departments across the resort property
  • Articulate the location of departments and services when required
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and as business requires
  • Greet every guest, member, and team member with exceptional service standards and set a positive tone for every interaction
  • Provide extraordinary service that is enriching by nature
