Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Neurosurgery team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Job Summary
The Medical Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and administrative support to our Neurosurgery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care and support to the Neurosurgery team, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and patient education.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, registering patients, and preparing patient charts.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
