Job Description

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Neurosurgery team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and administrative support to our Neurosurgery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and support to the Neurosurgery team, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and patient education.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, registering patients, and preparing patient charts.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
