Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Diesel Engine Mechanic/Technician to join our team at Dependable Marine Inc. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience repairing and maintaining diesel engines, with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on marine diesel engines with limited or no supervision.
  • Travel to customer job sites for repair and maintenance.
  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
  • Assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience repairing and maintaining diesel engines.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • Must own own vehicle and tools.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
