At Abbott Laboratories, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Sanitation Specialist to join our team in the Abbott Nutrition division. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective cleaning and sanitizing processes to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any sanitation or cleanliness issues.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that cleaning schedules align with equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all company GMPs, Food Safety, and EHS SOPs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to follow all GMPs, Food Safety, and EHS SOPs per assignments.
- Ability to work with extended periods of standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting in a safe manner.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push and/or pull up to 100lbs.
- Properly, accurately, and legibly complete required documentation.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of this position with minimal supervision.
- Sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment.
