Associate Financial Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Financial Manager to join our Covington Plant Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting a strong fiduciary environment, analyzing metrics and reporting, processing financial transactions, and providing business insights for the plant budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of the annual plant budget, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with plant operations to identify opportunities for process improvement and productivity gains.
  • Provide backup support for the site's Financial Operations Manager as needed.
  • Partner with other functions to implement process improvements and productivity opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of related experience in finance or accounting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel pivot tables, formulas, and data analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in a finance/accounting role within manufacturing.
  • Experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment.
  • Financial acumen and proven analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
