Position Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months grooming experience or completion of a grooming program
  • Familiarity with various dog breeds, care protocols, and grooming tools
  • Physical capability to lift up to 70 pounds and endure extended periods of standing
  • Dependable transportation
  • Commitment to a smoke-free workplace

Responsibilities:
  • Groom according to Scenthound standards
  • Assist in bathing dogs when not engaged in trimming
  • Focus on puppy cuts; maintaining a uniform length with a tidy face
  • Foster an environment that encourages learning, open dialogue, and teamwork
  • Recognize when assistance is needed and provide support to maintain schedule
  • Ensure the safety of dogs and colleagues at all times
  • Follow Scenthound's hygiene and cleaning protocols
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Scenter Manager
