We are seeking a skilled Concrete Journeyman to join our team at T E C Industrial Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of various construction projects.

• Build and set up forms for edge of slab, sidewalks, or walls.
• Check forms for proper construction and verify trueness of form structure using plumb bob and level.
• Install wire welded fabric or re-enforcing bar and layout and install different types of joints.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete to proper elevation and pitch.
• Install embedded members in freshly poured concrete and apply different types of finishing techniques.
• Grade and prep subgrade, tool expansion joints and edges, and prepare damaged areas of concrete.
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete and surface retardants when required.
• Proficient use of a level (including spirit & laser type levels) and transit.
• Follow established safety rules and standards and keep work areas clear of construction debris.

• Execute various minor construction projects as required.
• Willingness and ability to work various shifts and overtime on short notice to meet business needs.
• Maintain equipment and clean around workstations.
• Interface with supervisor and/or manager to give progress updates as required.
• Able to work outdoors in the elements and work in tight spaces.
• Elevated work > 4' - fall protection required.

• Arrive at work on time, as scheduled, consistently, reliably, and complete each shift.
• Follow all safety rules and standards for the company and for the site.
• Understand and follow Instructions from the direct supervisor.
