Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at Children's National Health System. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets patients and visitors, schedules appointments, and provides administrative support
  • Verifies patient insurance eligibility and collects copays, deductibles, and balances
  • Processes specialty referrals and assists in training new staff
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records and electronic health records
  • Provides excellent customer service and communication skills
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in a medical office or business office setting preferred
  • Basic math skills and knowledge of office procedures
  • Knowledge of patient financials and accounting, as well as insurance verification and scheduling
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
