Position Overview:

The role of the Echocardiographer (Echo Tech) is crucial in performing diagnostic echocardiographic ultrasound imaging procedures. This position entails capturing sonographic images and measurements for diverse patient populations, including adults, children, and neonates. The echocardiographer will work autonomously as well as collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to execute ultrasonography procedures, ensuring the delivery of high-quality images and relevant patient data for analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver age-appropriate care spanning from neonates to geriatric patients.
  • Adhere to the patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures established by LifeBridge Health.
  • Fulfill responsibilities effectively as a vital member of the healthcare team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of formal education equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college), with expertise in a specialized field.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of pertinent experience in echocardiography.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification is required.
