Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at our office in Belleville, Illinois. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work with patients to identify needs for treatment and areas for future monitoring, educate patients and caregivers on proper dental hygiene, infection prevention, and post-treatment instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with patients to identify needs for treatment and areas for future monitoring
  • Educate patients and caregivers on proper dental hygiene, infection prevention, and post-treatment instructions
  • Work with dentists on treatment plans and accurately maintain patient documentation and charts
  • Be a friendly asset to the office, putting patients at ease, collaborating with, and assisting teammates
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and the importance of continued growth and development

Requirements

  • Valid Dental Hygienist License
  • Local Infiltration and Block Anesthesia Certification
  • CPR BLS - Healthcare Provider Level
  • Sirona (or similar digital radiograph software) experience
  • Experience assisting in different positions or on office-related projects
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassion, patience, and history of treating all patients with respect
