Tax Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant to join our team at Keller Executive Search. As a Tax Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing expert tax advice and guidance to our clients.

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and prepare comprehensive memoranda.
• Assist in tax planning and structuring for various transactions, collaborating with team members and clients.
• Help prepare tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements.
• Analyze and interpret tax laws, regulations, and rulings.
• Assist in representing clients in tax examinations and disputes with tax authorities.
• Contribute to the preparation of client presentations and proposals.
• Stay current with changes in tax legislation and regulations.
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax, preferably in a public accounting or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Previous experience in tax preparation and compliance.
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Experience with corporate tax, partnership tax, and individual tax issues.
• Familiarity with tax research tools and databases.
• Knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Experience in specific industries (e.g., financial services, technology, real estate).
