Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Body Shop Supervisor to join our team at GATR Truck Center. As a Body Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our body shop, ensuring that all repairs are completed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of body shop technicians to ensure that all repairs are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity in the body shop.
  • Coordinate with customers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure that all repairs are completed to their satisfaction.
  • Conduct estimates and repair orders, and communicate with customers and insurance companies as necessary.
  • Supervise the workflow through the body shop, ensuring that all repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train and inform body shop technicians on the desired quality standards and requirements.
  • Perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, supervising, coordinating, and communicating with team members, customers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • AdjustRite estimating experience is a plus.
  • Experience in estimating office/body shop setting.
  • Experience in working with insurance companies.
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • CDL certification is preferred.
  • Driving Record Insurable through Company Carrier.
  • Ability to Read and Interpret Documents.
  • Ability to Document/Communicate effectively.
