We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Systems Designer to lead the design and development of complex electro-optical systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing hands-on detailed design, modeling, and prototyping of mechanical systems to achieve performance and reliability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on detailed design, modeling, and prototyping of mechanical systems to achieve performance and reliability goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and optical engineers, to align mechanical designs with overall product and system requirements.
- Conduct and lead design reviews to ensure technical rigor and alignment with product requirements.
- Create comprehensive bills of materials, fabrication, and assembly drawings using GD&T standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally specializing in the design and development of complex electro-optical systems.
- Demonstrated success in leading projects and delivering innovative mechanical solutions in a multidisciplinary environment.
Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 per year based on location and experience. The actual salary may vary depending on individual qualifications and company policies.
