Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dietary Clerk II to join our Food and Nutrition Services Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing written and computerized clerical activities, selective menu distribution, and bedside menu entry for eligible patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient menu records
  • Prepare and assemble patient trays according to diet and menu requirements
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to resolve food and nutrition issues
  • Assist with data collection for Performance Improvement department studies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of clinical nutrition and infection control principles
  • Computer skills and proficiency in software applications
