Safe Harbor Home Care is seeking a Personal Care Specialist to join our team in San Diego. As a Personal Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in enabling clients to maintain their independence and quality of life.

The salary for this position is $30.00 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay up to $60.00 per hour. We offer a flexible schedule, weekly pay, and unlimited referral bonuses.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 hours of entry-level orientation training prior to presence with clients. As a Personal Care Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, exercising, and toileting/incontinence care.
  • Providing non-medical services and assistance to clients in their homes and communities.
  • Ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies, industry standards, and state regulations.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have valid I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents.
  • Able to obtain during onboarding process: Clearance Verified on the Home Care Aide Registry, Current Tuberculosis (TB) certificate, Registered with state of CA and active HCA number, Completed "Criminal Record Statement" (LIC 508), Complete "Personnel Record" (LIC 501), and Complete "Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Suspected Abuse of Dependent Adults and Elders" (SOC 341A).
