Avionics Technician Job Description

SkyWest Airlines is a leading regional airline with a fleet of over 500 aircraft, operating thousands of daily flights across North America. We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for avionics and electronics to work in a dynamic environment. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting systems, and making critical decisions regarding aircraft safety.

Responsibilities
  • Perform avionics inspections and routine maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and make informed decisions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve shared goals
Requirements
  • A&P Certificate preferred or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with company, manufacturer, and wire diagram manuals
  • Basic avionics skills and knowledge of electrical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Possess a valid unrestricted driver's license and be insurable
