Hydraulic Systems Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Design and create hydraulic systems that fulfill project specifications
  • Conduct investigations to improve current hydraulic systems
  • Choose suitable components such as pumps, valves, and motors
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot hydraulic systems to ensure safety and operational efficiency
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on hydraulic systems as necessary
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives
  • Keep abreast of advancements in hydraulic technology and industry developments
  • Offer technical assistance to clients and colleagues
  • Examine fluid dynamics and pressure within hydraulic systems to propose solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering is preferred
  • Professional Engineering license (PE) is advantageous
  • Relevant experience in hydraulic system engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of fluid mechanics, physics, and mathematics
  • Expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
