Position Overview: RN Charge Cardiac Full-Time Days
This role involves overseeing functions and activities related to a specific departmental area. The position is accountable for managing a clinic unit and coordinating the scheduling efforts of the unit's registered nurses. You will serve as a key liaison for both internal and external stakeholders, including pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, and hospital administration. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and executing plans to meet regulatory standards while training and mentoring staff.
Key Skills Required: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Capacity to implement changes effectively and assist in managing the departmental budget. Must demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions in high-pressure situations.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Overseeing other members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications for the RN Charge Cardiac Full-Time Days Position:
Minimum Education: Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Minimum Experience: At least two years of relevant clinical nursing experience, with specific requirements for Level II EQ candidates, including a minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience with neonatal ventilator knowledge.
Preferred Experience: Management experience with a minimum of two years in a supervisory role. Certification in a specialty area is preferred.
Required Certifications/Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona. CPR certification. ACLS certification as applicable based on departmental requirements.
Required Training: For L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification or completion within six months of hire.
