We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Waste Management, Inc.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and maintain the operation of all plant systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Respond to system failures by taking prompt and effective corrective action to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
- Complete or assign repairs as needed to ensure that systems are operational and functioning safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize maintenance strategies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field; experience in a plant or industrial setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plant systems and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
